Color Converter is used to convert one color format to another, such as: RGB444 to RGB555. In this section, you are going to learn these topics:

1 Open Color Converter
To open Color Converter, select menu: Tools -> Color Converter[F5], or click the Color Converter toolbar button.
2 Perform Color Converting.
2.1 Input the number for converting
there are 3 ways to input a color:
2.1.1 Input it directly
In "Hex" text box, input the color value which must be in hexadecimal format. You can also paste numbers into it, but illegal characters will be ignored. if you pasting content is too long, the last N characters are used. N depends on the color format. If it's R8G8B8, N is 6.
2.1.2 Input color from color chooser
Click the left color preview rectangle and open a color chooser to input a color. The color chooser has 3 modes: Web-Safe mode, HSB mode, and RGB mode.

2.1.3 Input color from mini-keypad
Another way to input a number is through mini-keypad. Click the mini-keypad button to the right of the "Hex" text box, and input number form it.

2.2 Select the from/to color format
There are 2 color format lists in the color converter Left is from and right is to. Change the format as you want, and you will see converting result in the Right "Hex" text box. You can select and copy it. The colors are previewed below corresponding values.
